I can't imagine how fast that car has to be. I actually just got out of a sl55 amg that my friend's dad has and that car was unbelievably fast. The sl65 has 123 more hp than the sl55, that must be nuts.

A. it is purposely build as a GT, not sport car. that it also delivery comfort and luxury beside preformance.
B. it is an autobox.
C. it is a hard top convertible = heavier.
D. Can't make it goes faster than the SLR.
E. It can be right when the SL65 is almost equal the price of 4 C6s, and so it must be capped slower to make sure people to see your face.

Well all Mercedes are regulated at 155. The germand have done this for some odd purpose, VW, porsche, Mercedes, BMW, have all done this, to there new cars. But take that pretty little feature off, and wow. I guarantee that car is capable of 220 MPH. I suggest you all download the Top gear Video of this beast, to see it in action is only proper.

Top Gear has a review of the car and that tool box jeremey clarkson mentions that only like 28 have been made. I didn't think it was set up for production..The car is capable of 215+ MPH speeds according to them. I wouldn't be suprised if that car was extremely limited via the ecu.
