why do you need a FCD?
since your running the haltech it wouldnt make much of a difference with that, unless your having trouble with the stock ECU throwing a CEL
?

patience everyone....... i think many people have underestimated the stock ecu... it ran rich as hell stock with that t-25 for a reason... it was begging for something a little bigger :)

no but honestly, people underestimate the stock ecu... i ran it for a while with my last kit at 10 psi and i was getting perfect 11.5 afrs across the board.

I want to try this turbo at about the same range to see what types of afrs i get... im guessing about 11.9-12.1 which is good for me :)

Another reason i am using stock pcm is for daily driveability in the cold winter months here in Michigan. Unfortunately, i am not as blessed with warm weather as Beau and duane out there in AZ, so i have to accomadate for that here (ie stock pcm)...


Honestly however, the car runs like a ******* champ at .8 bar on the stock ecu and larger fuel pump. Only thing holding me back is fuel cut right now.

DOnt worry though, i will go haltech, everyone just needs to be a bit patient..

it cracks me up everyone says the stock pcm is s***... all you need is a bigger turbo guys and a fuel pump for some daily fun! I dont recommend this for high boost/ high hp applications however... just for daily / cold weather conditions.

lol 100% duty on the wrx 440's will probably be about 16-17 psi then i will have to source out new injectors.

on the stock injectors, im assuming 100% duty will be right around 11-12 psi or so.

i think with the 440s you will be able to go more then 16psi on that gt30, maybe im wrong just guessing, but this will be good to know before i buy some 440s lol, cuz i plan on running 25psi on my turbo...know what your duty cycles were with the last turbo at 18psi?
 
also on that note, will MODDED wrx injectors work for us? they get up to 660cc or something like that maybe higher...
 
yeah lol. Just to give everyone a visual of how much flow that turbo makes....

fuel cut for me with stock turbo wasnt until about 12 psi. Now on this turbo it is at about 8 psi.

SO the gt30 series turboo makes up the same air flow (a lot) with 4 psi less boost. Just immagine what 12 psi on this turbo would feel like..!

well look how big it is compared to stock, rofl...of course it pushes alot more air :D, bah 12psi, not even getting into that turbo sweet spot dude, you need 20+psi lol

ok got a few very very shoddy vids here lol. I was running out of camera and fuel cut only allowed me to go to about 4500 rpms or so.

Does anyone know how to get better quality movies? i have a nice sony digi cam but only know how to transfer the movie from mini dv to memory stick (crapy 64 mb) and then upload it as a mpeg.

is there a way to get a cleaner version straight from the min dv?

lol you guys ar ruthless lol...

i will get a better one tomorrow. maybe it will be a bit warmer and i can actually rev to like 5K rpms or something lol.

but there is like no gray area... once you hit 4K it goes straight to 6K. wheelspin like fujitsua.

the car is fun now, just wish i could actually hold the pedal down for more then 4 secs. lol
