patience everyone....... i think many people have underestimated the stock ecu... it ran rich as hell stock with that t-25 for a reason... it was begging for something a little bigger
no but honestly, people underestimate the stock ecu... i ran it for a while with my last kit at 10 psi and i was getting perfect 11.5 afrs across the board.
I want to try this turbo at about the same range to see what types of afrs i get... im guessing about 11.9-12.1 which is good for me
Another reason i am using stock pcm is for daily driveability in the cold winter months here in Michigan. Unfortunately, i am not as blessed with warm weather as Beau and duane out there in AZ, so i have to accomadate for that here (ie stock pcm)...
Honestly however, the car runs like a ******* champ at .8 bar on the stock ecu and larger fuel pump. Only thing holding me back is fuel cut right now.
DOnt worry though, i will go haltech, everyone just needs to be a bit patient..
it cracks me up everyone says the stock pcm is s***... all you need is a bigger turbo guys and a fuel pump for some daily fun! I dont recommend this for high boost/ high hp applications however... just for daily / cold weather conditions.
