Does anyone know if MAM sales the Turbo Manifold and Downpipe by itself? If so does any know the price?
it will only work on our turbo setups...

the mam setup is very nice... that's what i did... i bought the manifold, downpipe and turbo... then customized the rest

(i actually ended up buying the hard pipes from him too... made it alot easier)

It could work on any setup. You would just have to move some IC pipes.
and dp...

i was just saying it wont work unless you buy other parts because it seemed that he wanted a custom kit for his MP3 :)

if you get it custom, just keep in mind how long that takes to fabricate pieces.
Also, I have a GT28R for sale :) lol .

Our Sleeper manifold uses a T2 style turbo(GT25,GT28r,GT28RS,GT2871,etc)
and retails for $379.The downpipe for the Sleeper kit is $399.Both pieces are made from Stainless Steel and come Jethot coated.

Now we have the Thumper maniold. The Thumper uses a T3 style turbo and is made from thick wall stainless steel and comes ceramic coated. The Thumper manifold is $995 and the downpipe and midpipe for it is $595.
The Thumper manifold features a full tubular stainless steel design with 1 3/4" runner ID,4-1 pyramid collector and is ceramic coated. If you are looking for 350+ HP a large tubular runner manifold is the only way to go.

MAM stuff is nice. If you can't afford the Thumper, get the sleeper.

And why do you think the manifold for the thumper is considerably more..? I'm guessing the collector had something to do with it... (shrug)

well, the thumper manifold cost more for several reasons... its 10 gauge 321 stainless. which is VERY expensive... add to that there is a LOT more of it on the thumper mani than the sleeper mani. also it takes 100000x longer to fabricate, not to mention more to Jet Hot.

really, $995 is a VERY reasonable price considering what goes into it... if its too much for you, then dont complain about it, get something different. I dont want the quality compromised to make costs less for the top of the line mani. and thats what this is. :D

yah seriously...you can buy a manifold out there for cheaper...but for the time, cost and quality put into beaus thumper manifold...you wont get it anywhere else! i think you wont really appreciate the thumper manifold until you see it first hand (for all the non believers), but as for me...i would rather spend the money and do it right the first time knowing im getting the best there is to offer.

just my .02... if you got the money, you might as well go with the thumper kit... i pieced my turbo together earlier in 2003, and it came out to over 4gs... it was a headache going to different places to shop for different things, waiting for stuff to come in, etc... if you get it all from one place, all you have to worry about is blowing your engine!!! hahaha

Beau, I will be saving up my pennies to pick up a thumper mani from you!!! I don't know when yet cause I gotta budget in my engine rebuild :( but I definatly want to get one. I'm not worried about the downpipe or the intercooler piping cause I will just redo them when I get the mani.

It's probably cheaper to buy the whole kit through MAM than get it done locally. You also know it will be done right if it comes from MAM because he works with mazdas a lot where as a local shop probably does not see them that often. I would go with the sleeper or starter kit if I was you.
