yup go to the apt office

Moeed said:
Just a thought, fedex and ups will leave the packages at the apt. office when they get no answer, at least the guys who deliver to my apt. I have had to go to the office to pick up my packages.
that is true they should have left a door tag that it was attempted at the apt. and stating that it would be left at the office. so u can start there cuz,FEDex,DHL,UPS are not allowed to leave packages at any apt complex, trailer, or condos. i no this cuz i am a driver for DHL. so if the driver didn't tag your door there is something wrong here.

i worked for fedex a year ago as well as a few friends and understand where you are coming from. i will be following up with fedex daily for formal statements from them, and from the delivery driver.

the exception of the package might being left would have been that the driver thought it was a safe place to leave. us as driver's have to determine that so u are right u should follow up cuz this is just weird i am surprised that it was not left at the office nor a door tag was left. another thing to consider to is that some apt complex's log in what the driver drop off u might also wanna check into that.

good luck to u guy's hope u find it

i no how it feel's to loose a package has happend to me before.

THIS IS FREEKING CRAZY!!!!!!!!!! Toms a good dude i know him personaly thats my statement and brian805 please dont bring me in this and please stop pm me thank you and you too need to work it out

Its weird... some people say Tom is a good guy, then others say he left harassing messages, etc. Soooo damn confusing. I don't know what to think about him other than he lives in low income apartment housing, has a two-year old, and a turbo'ed 3 w/~13 sponsors.

after reading these 4 pages of insanity, all i can add is that while i do not personally know the buyer or the seller, i happen to know ken very well. i know for a fact that he would not fabricate any stories about being threatened, having derogatory messgaes being left on his machine, people having disconnected phone numbers, etc. ken is one of the most honest people ive ever met, as well as the most helpful. this is apparent by the measures he has taken to correct this matter, even though he legally has no obligation to do so.

Agree, like I said before well respected and always looking out for others.

i think a lot has been made out of a very simple issue.
first,l i dont know any of the parties involved. i always heard good things of King13 (Tom) and even better things about Ken. Have not heard anything of Brain before.

I dont think anyone here was trying to screw the other; it was just the way different people react to different situations.
We have Tom who didnt get his gauges although it said it was delivered. We know that he has a very busy schedule with a lot of responsibilities, he couldnt take on another one and track and investigate where his package was; he told Brian about it.
Brian then was very eager to get his new wheels (who wouldnt) and (i assume because he didnt know Tom very well) thought that he was getting screwed. Obviously upset, Brian prob called Tom and tried to get his point across. Tom probably felt it wasnt his responsibility nor his problem so he called Ken and said: "get this guys off my back, i wont send the wheels until i get my gauges"; obviously in a different tone (as we know Ken wouldnt lie about this).
Then Ken, the only innocent party here, did the right thing, contacted PD, Fedex, suggested solutions and helped everyone.

I dont think any of the parties did any worngdoing on purpose. perhaps Tom could have reacted better and confirm the gauges were lost and then ship the wheels. Its not fair that he would be out 800 bucks but it isnt fair to brian either; it is not that brian didnt ship them. Perhaps Brian could have had a bit more patience and follow trhough, it has only been one day since the gauges were shipped.

Well Ken, he did everything he had to and more, i wouldnt expect any of this from anyone. if i ever have to do business with anyone in this forums it would be Ken for sure.

and this is my version of the events. anyone knows a publisher? i could get a sci fi book deal.. no?

i've been following my rims though for 3 days and they have only gone about 400 miles. I guess rims cant be shipped as fast as other products.....

i ordered my rims over a month ago, still dont have them. the tracking number said they shipped from FL monday and arrived in Illinois this morning. 3 days and thats as far as it made it. im getting frustrated as hell

OK you win
you both get what you want i have left a voice mail for brian i am sending his rims you owe me nothing.

I hope this resolves anything if you get a word from fedex please just email and i will get them sent to a friends house if they find or replace them im sorry you guys had to do all of this after only a day.

Tom. The email you sent me with the tracking numbers gave me the impression that you had sent the wheels.
It shows parcel post and insured.. The USPS site shows 7-9 days for delivery from VA to CA and it has been 11. I wouldn't be surprised if they are sitting in the back of my local post office the way things are run around here.
If you could let me know if I should be expecting the wheels or not that would be great.
sent you a email yesterday asking the same thing...
Brian.
