MeinP5's Audio Install Thread(56K No Way)

Well...the parts started coming in today and I figured it would be a good time to start my install thread. I plan on doing a full audio setup including front door speakers, subs, headunit, amp, dynamat. Im not looking for crazy loud bass, but more of a nice sound. I also want to try my luck and do a fiberglass box.

*Alpine iPod adapter
*Apline Type R 6X8's
*2x Rockford Puch 8" subs
*JL Audio 250/1
*50 sq ft. of Dynamat

Today the subs came in the mail from Crutchfield. I got both for $71.97 including shipping. Schweet...tomorrow the amp is going to be here...then Sat. I plan on starting the box with Stephen(SATimko).

I just got a confirmation email that the amp was delivered today. Now all I need to do is start building this box. Hopefully tomorrow I get more progress and updates.

Today I washed/clay bared/washed/polished/waxed my car. I also prepped the hatch for the box. I masked off all the plastic so that when I am taking wood in and out I don't scratch anything. I picked up some 1/2" MDF. Next thing I need to do is start cutting and laying everything out. I should be able to do that tomorrow.
