Does anybody know how these compare to the trz dogbone mount because they look pretty much the same. ive been on the market for a MM and ive narrowed it down to the these two. looking for something that is mostly good for street and occasionally track but i dont want something thats gonna cause too much vibration.

Then you should get the Medieval mount. Almost half the price. I'm running all 3 mounts.

I have the dogbone mount as well, its great. Its softer than the TRZ so it will have less vibrations. So if you want more track stiffness then go with the TRZ but daily driver with every once in a while track day then the medieval will be good for you.

what TRZ is softer than? I always see this comment and I am unclear because the TRZ comes in 2 different materials. poly(softer) and the delrin(hard)

Sorry I was saying that the Medieval is softer than the TRZ (even the poly).

i have both trz mounts and love them. vibes actually went down w/ the tranny mount.

looks like you can get all 3 medieval mounts for $209 as opposed to the 2 trz mounts for $180. don't know if the passenger side mount is necessary (my $0.02).

either way, i wouldn't stop w/ just the rear mm.

TRZ for sure. Everything medieval has released has been s*** lately. Stuff doesnt fit, mounts fall apart, bushings rip...etc. Dont let the lokk fool you, its not the same thing just cheaper. Yes TRZ will have slightly more vibration. It also offers more firmness and, support, and is the most reliable product out there.

I like my Medieval rear mount, but I also got their tranny mount which I don't like. The quality on it seems a little sub-par with paint chips and the fact that they sent me the wrong hardware for it. I haven't put it in, its just sitting in my garage.

I have the rear medieval MM and am happy with it, it is worlds better than the inserts. I dont know if I would trust their other mounts, since there have been issues. You cant go wrong with TRZ though. I actually like the vibes by the way, I must be weird.

Paint chips ?!? Maybe thats why they are so cheap... Stuff like this should be poweder coated, like ALL of TRZ's stuff is. No spray can bulls***.

who cares what it looks like? its underneath your car where nobody is ever gonna even see it. all that matters to me is if it performs.

I have all the Medieval mounts and they are power coated and not painted. I have no problems at all with my mounts. Yes, they had a few failures on the passenger mount, but the fact that they corrected it quick and designed a new one speaks for it self. I think every company goes through.

My rear Medieval mount came powder coated and looked really nice, but the side mount was obviously not powder coated and had chips all over it. I ordered both of them from DS, so I don't know what gives.

I would contact Medieval They say all there mounts are powercoated. Make sure it is a Medieval mount.
