Medieval motor mounts

Front and rear. I have a SLS side mount and an AWR tranny mount to install as well.

ah, i was thinking about gettin the awr tranny mount. let me know how that one is too, lol. rite now i have sls front and side, only cuz my stock mounts were torn

Will do, it may be a while though. I may just delay it until the built engine goes in.

Ive got medieval front and rear, and awr side inserts. Noticed a huge different in the way the car feels when its driven. Say goodbye to wheel hop..

I just had the stock mounts, after I got the new ones in there was more vibration, but after you get above 1500 rpm its not bad at all

I got the Medieval front and rear motor mounts. I installed the Front one a few weeks ago and will be installing the rear as soon as i get a hold of 2 intake mani gaskets so I can put in a Thermal Spacer.

Before having the Medieval Front MM in I had the AWR 95 duro. in the front and rear and side inserts..... NIGHT & DAY difference!!! Even with only the front being swapped out to the Medieval you could already feel alot less vibration. Even looking in the engine bay and reving the motor you don't see any engine jerking of anything. It also seems to quite down the cabin noise..

I can't wait to install the Rear MM and I will definitely be purchasing the Side MM that Medieval just released. I would definitel recommend these MM above the AWRs, mainly because it holds just as strong as the AWR with alot less of the vibrations.

Here is a link to a comparison I wrote up about the 2 brands of MMs:

how hard is it to install the rear mount. i read the how-to, just wondered if there was an updated how-to or a simplier way

You may have a good shot at it if you remove the intake manifold. I am aiming for a 3hr install hopefully less....I will keep you posted.

I've got the intake manifold off of one of my Proteges and I can clearly see the rear mount. Looks pretty straight-forward. Also waiting on a set of Medieval mounts... :) Really, though, our FS-DE intake manifolds are HUGE. My engine bay seems so spacious without one.. haha.

Yup with the manifold off you can get to it easy. I will hopefully get it in soon and I will do a write up about it.

no need to remove manifold to replace rear motor mount since i did it that way and i replaced front and back mounts in abour an hour
