make sure you guys dont order from them... There's this big thing going on and msf and ********** that people are getting ripped off and not getting the right parts that fit.

This guy has bought a mani from them and the mani was designed poorly and didnt fit. He sent it back and told them to refund it and havent heard anything from anyone there in over a 2 week period.

So just be careful and dont order anything from them.

mods i hope this isn't too much i just wanted to warn every1 before they try to order something from them and get screwed over

its not news. s**** been happening for the past 2 years.

edit: if you dont count the MAM and beau madness

I know most mods have been trying to warn people from buying from any of these 'shady' vendors, and this guy just proves why. He got banned from here for a reason.

amillie...you gotta work on your sweet internet skillz man. Quotes are not your friend apparently! lol!

lol i kno but dont the links work now?

not for nothing. i don't have a speed6 but i have installed a few of these manifolds and have gotten them on. Its a really tight fit and i would strongly suggest going a different route with the studs so it will be easier installing these. they do fit if you know how to install them properly and don't give up.......if its not installed properly it won't fit.......but those manifolds are a super tight fit.....look at the space it needs to fit into....there is minimal room but it does fit.

I dont know whats up with them, but everything they had put out are a tight snug fit.....I have purchased just about everything they made for the MSP. and recommended their products to numerous people.

not all of them fit...

Okay, so a lot of you guys know how medieval llc are doing business, but I'd like to make it a little more apparent seeing that you guys are more familiar with them over here than on "6club" which I'm more active in. Hopefully this keeps anyone else from buying from these scammers. I'm out $925 BTW.

I purchased a Medieval manifold after much questioning and speculation from the company on march 23 via paypal. After purchasing I was told that my manifold would come in 2-3 weeks. Cool, that's not much of a wait. Well after the first week I get a picture of what looks like an almost completed manifold and he tells me to please not share the pictures he sent me for some reason, which I thought was odd.

On April 8th he tells me that my manifold is off to the ceramic coaters already so now I'm still expecting this to come within that 2-3 week time period. Now for me it's very important to get the manifold in 2-3 weeks because having bought many items online, I know that there's a 30 day dead line to dispute pay pal purchases. After that I'm SOL with getting a 100% refund.

I emails him on April 21 asking for another update and he states that my manifold would ship the next week, even though on April 8th it was already sent to the powder coaters, this was my first moment of frustration.

APRIL 30th, I ask again where my manifold is and he states that they did not receive it and it should arrive tomorrow (being May 1st).

On may 1st I come over here to good ol MSF and see that Collin M. (IHEARTGROCERIES) will be receiving his manifold because it shipped according to whoever posts here for Medieval. I email him asking what the hell the deal is because I know he ordered his after me. He explains that he's hired "employees" that made a clerical error and apologizes.

MAY 6th he tells me it's on it's way from UTAH.

MAy 7th I receive a tracking number ( yes a real one)

May 12th I receive the manifold...8 weeks later.

May 20th I attempt to install the manifold pretty much all day long. Took me 45 minutes to pull out the stock one so I was initially excited. Come to find that Medieval did not send me the correct hardware to install this thing, So I ended up having to go the Home Depot to buy my own hardware (after already spending $925).

*****INSTALLATION*****
I'll break this installation part into a different section now.

I bought the new hardware for the manifold after discovering that I can't use the stock studs with this manifold due to it's huge size (even though I figured out how, which would have worked if this thing was made right). I go back at it and get great and being able to drop the thing in there to get against the head. Once I figure that part out I go at the manifold to turbo first. I tried probably a hundred times trying to get it to mate and just couldn't. DJUOSNTEISN was there and said, "Looks like that first runner is rubbing against your turbo man." and I quickly dismissed that comment and called it a day.

Day two of the installation I came back refreshed ready to work on the car again. I go back at the turbo to manifold and find the same problem, there's about 1/2" gap between the turbo and manifold flange. I got the driver's side bolts just fine, but the passenger side one's didn't even have a chance. So I figured out that what Dustin had said the night before was EXACTLY RIGHT. The first runner was so ******* big it had no chance to allow me to mate my turbo to this manifold. So, being as frustrated as one can be, having waited 8 ******* weeks for something I paid $925 for, I decide that I'm not waiting any longer. I get a hammer and beat the runner until I'm able to get my turbo to mate to the manifold.

I'll give this manifold some credit, it was not an easy task beating that runner, it was made pretty sturdy. I was able to accomplish my goal and FINALLY got the turbo to mate with the manifold (turbo is a 3071, probably havent mentioned that yet). Not sure if it was 100% sealed, but it appeared to be. Now I tackle the head to the manifold to get those bolts on. I go from the center out bolt by bolt. I don't tighten them at first, just wanted to get them all in. Well from the center out, I got all the driver's side bolts in and all but 3 of the bolts on the passenger side on. I figure what the hell, might be an okay seal though I felt a lip on the passenger side, but I was just going to test it to see. So I go grab my waste gate to pop in on and start the car and the AC line is in the way. At this point I'm telling myself that for $925 this thing should have been perfect and rip it out of my car and EMAIL medieval of what happened. Here are some pics.

Well on MAY 22nd after arguing back and forth I tell him that I'm going to send it back and wanted a refund. At this point I was told that he would be able to make me another manifold and have it shipped in a week. I was told that it warped in the powdercoaters and then that all 3071s are made differently which was apparently my fault and that I should have GRINDED THE TURBINE HOUSING DOWN ON MY 3071 TO MAKE IT FIT. I'm like, whatever dude, REFUND. Like I said above he agreed to it, the manifold got to him in a week which was MAY 28th. He confirmed that he received it and stated that he would be out of town until that following tuesday (June 2nd) to make a decision, whatever that means. On June 2nd I was him what's up with the refund and he says they're awaiting on the third owner (there's more than one>????) to complete the decision. He stated that I would probably lose money on the powder coating and a restocking fee. I email him June 3rd with no response. June 4th is the last time I've heard from him stating that I would receive a refund.

Today is June 14th and I have not received an email or a phone call or ANYTHING AT ALL. I cannot dispute this through pay pal and I tried to dispute it through my bank, but their limit is 60 days which was also out the window a long time ago. I've got NO HELP FROM ANYWHERE AND DON'T SEE MY $925 COMING FROM ANYWHERE AT THIS POINT.

I figure all I can do is let all of you know not to buy from them and save you all the trouble. I hope everyone in the process of dealing with Medieval gets at least a working manifold.

I bought grims PG + EWG which went in like a charm and works like a charm.

Always pay for this stuff with a credit card, guys. Visa and MasterCard will stomp a mudhole in a vendor's ass for you for up to two years after you purchased it.

The credit card companies don't even argue with you about it. They just give you your money back and go after their money with the vendor.
