MBC Install Parts

I read the installation instructions on the JoeP site, but I still am not positive that I know every part that I need from the autoparts store.

Looks like I should get about a foot of 3/6 vacuum hose. What size tee's do I need, and how many.

Installing the boost guage was simple due to the info I found on here, I'd like to make the MBC as swift as possible as well.

Thanks

3/16" hose

3/16" tees

You should also just replace the entire wastegate line...the stock one is pretty brittle. 2 feet of hose is plenty, you'll have extra in case you mess up.

Does anyone have before and after pics of the install? My car's not here and I'm trying to get a visual before I start. The install directions on Joe's site don't seem 100% clear to me.

Just installed mine, I used the existing tee, saw no need to change it to a new one. Bought a 2' line of 3x16 hose, and just used about 6 inches of it. I had no problem using the existing line off the wastegate.

I had it hit around 10.5-11 on my guage (although my guage is suspect to be reading about 1 PSI high). It seems it peaks and then instantly goes down about .5 PSI. I'm not 100% sure how the fuel cut feels, but I have the slightest bit of a feeling that might be it, but it is so subtle that I think it may be from the PSI dropping .5 PSI.

How violent is the fuel cut, this is hardly noticable, I really don't think I'm hitting it, the car continues to accellerate, just has a slight hiccup.

Fuel cut is violent. It feels like your car hits a wall....your problem sounds like hesitation.

Yeah it's right around where the hesitation used to be before I flashed, it may be just back again cause of the increase in boost.

That's exactly what it was, I just forgot about the hesitation.

I guess I'll wait for it to get cold and experience the cut.
