Ok, it's coming down to the wire. I will be driving over to Orlando Sunday morning to meet up with the caravan coming from...wherever. I found this site that has a list of rest stops on I-4 starting in Daytona (headbang)

I was thinking that a good place to meet up is somewhere west of Orlando..Lakeland area somewhere. If anyone who lives around there can say which of these is best for a lot of cars, please say so.

Once we get a rest stop sorted out, we can set a time and leave it at that.

Daytona Meeting Point: Circuit City parking lot 1 block E of I-95 on International Speedway (rd, blvd?) 7:15am... we roll out 7:30am Sharp!

Orlando/Altamonte Springs: The Walgreens 1 block W of I-4 on S.R. 436. 7:45am... we roll out at 8:00am Sharp!

Turbomanprotege, JCell and mazpro all have my cel #. PM them if you need to get ahold of me.

60/40 on this right now. Leaning towards going though. The wallgreens on 436 is about 10 minutes from my house, so that works great for me. fyi, I'm pretty sure it's going to take more than 15mins from daytona to 436, even on a sunday morning. If you're just planning to pull in and pull out at 8, then that might work. Anyhow, Plan on seeing you all there (wallgreens) at 7:30-7:45 then.

The meet was definitely fun. Glad to meet all of you Mazda guys and thanks to those of you who set it all up ( won't name names so I don't leave someone out) and to the sponsors. Can't wait for Mazdasummerpalooza!! Again, thanks to all.

Hey all. Pretty fun meet if I do say so myself. Was good to see some old faces, and meet some new ones. Good spot for a meet too. This one was truly a "winter"palooza lol. Big thanks to everyone who got this one organized and made it a reality. Also, thanks to Ken for some schaweet raffle prizes.

Here are just a few quick pics. The silver rx8 was sweet. There's a pic of the mad max deathtrap rust bucket 4.5 caddy v8 monstrosity bike as well. After the meet, I cruised down to Fort DeSoto park, site of summerpalooza '06 iifc, and got some nice pics at sunset with the skyway bridge in the background.

Thanks again. T'was fun. Looking forward to summerpalooza!
