Mazdaspeed6 autoexe carbon fiber grill (new)

I want to clear up any confusion on this item, I purchased from protege garage and paid $388 for it new. That is why I was only asking $300 for an unused 'Autoexe CF grill'. I purchased other items from street unit and asked them about the difference between the 2 grills they sell. They told me the autoexe one was the best but other was good too. Protege garage advertizes the autoexe grill and they use what appears to be the same pic used on the autoexe website. Since it was cheaper, I bought it from PG thinking I was buying the same item. If it's knock off, I appologize for any confusion and I thank you for clearing it up. IF I knew it was going to make a difference I would have been more specific. I'm not happy about the idea of being tricked into thinking I was buying that I didn't get. At least a buyer knows exactly what they are getting now. That being said, it does appears to be a nice solid carbon fiber grill and it looks good. If I still had speed6, it would be on it.

the only thing i'll say is autoexe = somewhat worth $300, knock-off = worth around $200. no offense to the OP, looks like he made an honest mistake.

yeah, ken has lost alot of my business because he wasnt exactly clear and honest about some things... that being said, it doesnt necessarily make it a knockoff, when i first got my speed Autoexe parts were all that were available and they were being sold by PG, and SU etc... so who knows... as for an upgraded accent piece.. IMO its nice, but just doesnt warrant spending anywhere near that much.. id rather focus on a hood or trunk..

Hey mazdaspeed33 ,did look on ebay wait time was about 3-4 weeks to get to my door ,it's $218 plus $45 shipped & i got it for $220 shipped ,while driving who's going know if its a original autoexe part or not & if i dont like the cf look i can just re-spray it myself , what the hell ,it's all about looks ,i have paid for one from SU for 3 months now & still no word from them as to when there r getting them in ,so again knock off or not i'm happy ,cool happy mazdaspeeding to all u guys .

Whether real or not, $220 is a good deal in my opinion. I would have bought it for that.
s***, I paid $150 for my fiberglass grill back in the day lol.
Hope it fits as good as it looks.

i got one from Nextmood this wouldn't fit at all

Yes I have the supershyguy (nextmod) grill and I had to do a lot of work to make it fit, fill in crater sized bubbles in the resin and strengthen thin spots in the fiberglass. Plus I had to notch out the top on each side where the hood would hit on it.
If it fits better than that, you're already better off.
Don't forget to use 3m tape on the bottom so it doesn't fly off at freeway speeds.

The seller stated that it fitted well & the screw holes were already drilled he stated that i will need to apply 3m tape to lower sections ,so he's saying that it fits perfect with no clearance issues ,but that i will see when it gets to me next week.

just got the grill in the mail ,fitted it to car fits perfect ,trying to post pic here but just cannot get it , so i will post pics in the pic's section ,really looks & fits well ,thanks again to the seller .
