mazdaspeed vs mp3

Is everyone that has a mp3 happy with it? I was thinking of getting an mp3 what is everyones opinions that have one. I could either get the msp or mp3 but the mp3 is only 12,800 and the msp runs for like 22 with tax. I really want the msp but a blue mp3 sounds tempting for that much money, i could upgrade it with all the new mazdaspeed products. What are all your opinions that have mp3s, what would you do? I am trying to choose between the msp, mp3 or p5. I am thinking this mp3 might be a good deal for the money, but i wanna see what you guys think of your cars.

Colin,
is this the one from Tim Buck who works at MNAO? Seems to me he had some significant mileage on that one. Apologies if it isn't his you speak of. I say go for the MP3. That will bump me up to 1st at Irvine for a black msp....

aha i still want the black msp its just taking forevetr to get in, if it doesnt come in for another month i am gunna look into mp3s, thats why i started this post i wanna know if everyone likes there mp3s

Seems to me I saw a classified where Tim Buck who currently works at MNAO is selling his blue MP3 for around 15K w/20K miles on it. Vegas seems a distance to go, however, I say go and forgo the need for an black msp. Sorry, just see an opportunity.

ahah well if the black one comes in soon i am going to get it, my mom wants me to get the black one, i was going to get the orange one but she wouldn't help me out unless i get a black. so if he calls me up soon and says it's coming in i am going to buy it for sure

Statistics from the DMV say that white is the predominate color for ticketing. It's more of how you drive fast that catches the local law enforcement's eye. I've driven an MP3. Excellent handling, better than stock P5. Buy, buy, buy.

ahah i want the msp over the mp3. But the orange is a real eye catcher so i am sure a cop would see you going fast in that.

We got ours in August 2001 and have been using it daily ever since. We autocross it, use it for trips of one or two people and do the daily cummute in it. Most of this is my daughter, I get to use it when I can pry it out of her hands. We have gotten 32 MPG at 80+ MPH on the Interstate and the mid to high 20's around town. It depends on which of us lead footed drivers is behind the wheel. She won her class for the year in hers so we can not complain on that account. We have had few problems with it. The only one of any magnitude is the squeaking rear sway bar bushings. They just ordered the updated bushings and should install them later this weeeek. We all really enjoy driving it. I have been considering buying another one for my son to replace the 93 MX-6 LS V6 but I can not justifiy it. Before anyone asks, no I do not work for Mazda.
