Mazdaspeed toy arrived!

I got my Mazdaspeed axel back yesterday! Its fuggin awesome! Its pretty loud, I have a CAI + Gutted cat and removed resonator which might have something to do with it also.

But its just what I was looking for. I will get some pics up when I get back from class (4:45 the time now is 12:30).

I cant wait to go drive it again.

Looks great! I was thinking of getting that exhaust too, but I'm afraid of how loud it will be. Is it really obnoxiously loud?

What I'm really asking is, will my neighbors think I'm an idiot if I install it?

did you have it on b4 u "Gutted cat and removed resonator".. I wanted to get my resonator taken out but i dont want it to be super loud on the highway like my old custom 2.5 ehaust.. My flowmaster sounds like the mazadspeed.. hit me back

well the sound of the axle back sounds great on my exhuast, like you can still hear intake at high rpms, but i wanted to know if taking the resinator out makes it louder? any better throttle response?

Power gains: Very small if any (Butt dyno didn't notice any gains)

I took my resonator off 3 days before I got my exhaust. It made the stock exhaust a tad bit louder at lower RPM's. (hardly noticeable)

"can still hear intake at high rpms" hmm... have not really listened for it, i like the sound of the exhaust to much.

"will my neighbors think I'm an idiot if I install it?" Depends on who your neighbors are. Put it this way if you like it who cares. My dad hates all those noisy rice rockets but he said that he likes how mine sounded. "Its really deep"

It makes enough noise (in the cabin w/ windows closed) on the highway that you probablly couldnt carry on a conversation with out talking louder than normal.

I will try to get a sound clip tommorow both inside the car and out.

Let me know if you want some kind of special sould clip made. certain RPM's or anything, I will be glad to do almost anything.
