Its my daily driver tho dont really want to autocross it.
No offense, but if you are afraid to autocross your daily driver, then you probably don't need the MSP sway bar kit.

Whats that have to do with it? The sway bar kit will give you better performance on the street also thats like saying you shouldnt buy a msp unless you autocross it. I just dont want to tear through tires and be hard on the steering, endlinks, bushings, and brakes among things.

but to qualify for Mazdaspeed benefits, all you have to do is complete 2 autocrosses and submit timed results to Mazda. you don't have to win or even go fast. you could crawl around the autocross course at 10 m.p.h. and still qualify for the Mazdaspeed discount. "Using" these bars on the street will beat on your car, tires and brakes more than this.

Yeh I might just pay the extra cash and get it off of mazdastuff.com. After I get all my suspension stuff installed I might have to go autocrossing at least once or twice. Was just wondering if anyone knew anywhere else with a better price then mazdastuff.com.

you may be able to get the discount by telling Mazdaspeed Motorsports that you are building an autocross car and that you'd like to buy parts with the discount but you'll send results in later this year. They will sometimes give you the discount on this basis. You should definitely try an autox or two as it is fun, cheap and a great way to improve your driving skills. You don't need to worry too much about your car, almost every car there will be a daily driver.

Another possibility is to check out a dealer to see if they are authorized to sell Mazdaspeed parts. That's how I did it.

That I believe is the situation up here in Canada.

Depending on the dealer, you should prepare to pay even higher prices.

if a dealership has them, they probably want to get rid of them. my friend got a kit for 200 from the parts manager because the mazda3s were comming in. dosent hurt to ask

Yehh I called the dealer and no one around me has it in stock if they order the kit it is 450 dollars but I think ill be able to get it through MazdaspeedMotorsports.

I gave MazdaspeedMotorsports a call I either have to be currently racing or join some group not sure if I want to mess with getting it from here or not they do have good prices though.

For the guys that alrdy have this kit did the crossmember come painted well or was it more like a primer? I know when you order new body panels they come with a black paint for protecton but def not somethin to hold up to the weather.

They are shiny black brand new, like the cars are from the factory.

How did you order stuff from MazdaspeedMotorsports.com.... when i try to get on there it asks me to register and then i have to be racing in order to register?

That is the way most all of us did it. All you have to do is go run 2 autocrosses, about $30 each, send the results to Mazdaspeed Motorsports and then you qualify for their discounts, etc. Autocrosses are fun to do on your own and the MM discounts are a bonus. You will also qualify for S-Plan pricing on the purchase of a mazda vehicle, almost like employee pricing.
