Mazdaspeed Protege transmission issues…Help!

My MSP trans went out and I’m looking for replacement LSD for fair prices meanwhile I bought cheap trans out of standard protege and unfortunately making a whining noise it drives fine just loud whining noise as I speed up it gets louder and when clutch in disengaged/pushed in noise goes away any idea what this could be.?

Retail price for LSD just costs money brother- there's no "fair" about it.

You can buy a Phantom grip limited slip, factory 5 makes a gear-limited slip as does Quaife has a gear-limited slip. that all fit the g25 gearbox.

probably input shaft bearing if still at speed with the clutch pushed in. Phantom Grip has a l/s per se that works great for the street 350.00 range. Mfactory makes a nice one for some money 800.00 and Quaife makes one that is even a little more exp 1200.00. If it is just street use the Phantom grip is fine. if road racing the other two work better they lock faster in corners.
