Mazdaspeed Protege (stock) vs. 89' Toyota Supra Turbo (stock)

Who do you think would win between a Mazdaspeed Protege (stock) vs. 89' Toyota Supra Turbo (stock)?

My dad has a 89' Toyota Supra Turbo back in Chicago. I used to have it in high school but I moved to Florida and went through a few mx6's, and si's, then came to a MSP. Online its quoted the Supra has 230hp but its weighs 3600lbs-3900lbs. Who do you think would win in a 1/4 mile?

Depends on the condition of the cars and the driver. I would guess the supra would win because it makes a lot more torque despite it being heavier. Which would I rather DD? MSP hands down.

In a straight line, supra. But I hate that people try to compete with proteges in a straight line, thats not where these cars shine.
