Mazdaspeed or other CAI Install Instructions

Just purchased a used Mazdaspeed CAI for my MS6.
It didn't come with instructions so I'm not sure what to
look out for or that I have all the required parts to install it?

I know this isn't the toughest mod to install and yes, I have searched the
forum and read. i.e. don't need to remove the tire, just turn wheel to the left.

Does anyone have a scaned copy of their install instructions for the Mazdaspeed CAI or maybe another brand of MS6 CAI that they could post?

Any tips would be appreciated as well.

Thanks.

Let me take a look through my file to see where I put them, I won't be able to scan until later today or maybe early tomorrow. PM me your e-mail address so I can send it along.

Keep searching in forums or look for the injen instructions on google. I know there is a thread in here with scanned injen CAI installation. And yes you will need to remove your driver side wheel. Will be very annoying to install leaving the wheel on. Just dont take off the bumper (not necessary).

Im not 100% sure but i think the mazdaspeed intake comes with just 1 tube, the filter, filter cleaning solution, and some clamps / mounting bracket.

Thanks folks, I have a follow up question

Now that I have seen the AEM and Mazdaspeed install instructions I can see that I am missing a few small pieces, hose clamps etc.

The piece that I am specifically concerned about is the 1" x 8mm rubber mount. From what I can tell in the instructions, this is a sort of anti-vibration soft mount.

If I can't buy one from AEM and have to re-create one, my questions are:

1. How tall is the rubber material in the mount? About an inch tall?

2. How soft/hard is the material used?

3. Any suggestions for materials I could use? I was thinking some sort of
rubber washers stacked on a bolt or stud, sandwiched between washers
and bolts ?

I'll go out and measure mine tomorrow. It looks like its meant to use as a mount for the intake w/ a little flex from the sometimes violent engine vibrations (but I'm not sure, I might be way wrong, it just seems to make sense to me). I'll check it out and get back to you unless someone else can do it sooner.
