Today I'm test fitting set of Mazdaspeed Miata Wheels on my 2. They are 17x7 38mm offset. My only concern is the weight lol. I'll post pics as soon as I can...

You're all over the place with wheels! haha

well a local friend has a set with 3/4 tread tires for $300... so I might as well try them. I can either find the wheels I want but not the right size or offset, or perfect size and offset but I don't like the wheel lol

Thanks you for your help though!

Are those wheels gonna work on the 2? I didn't think Mazda went 17" before switching to 5X100 on the bolt pattern.

the mazdaspeed MX5 was the last special edition of the NB model, and had 4 lug wheels. should fit fine on the 2, and look great. looking forward to seeing pics.

My pleasure! Always go for the best deal possible. :)

they may look good if youre low enough . that will help take some of the attention off how big the wheels are. 17" is a bit large for these cars in my opinion but like i said it can be done if youre dropped nicely.

In for pics! I tried to do this the last meet we had but the guy didn't have his lug key on him lol.

here you go...

For s***'s sake that's HOT! That's one of the best looking wheel combos for the 2 that I've seen yet!

Looks really good. The offset fits the Mazda 2 really well.

The '04 wheels are pretty light for 17's. IIRC, they're around 17 lbs. Looks good!

Thanks everyone. They do look good. I'm running 3mm spacers in front and 5mm spacers in the rear. I'm still debating...

here is another pic

The car looks mature with those wheels. Which is a good thing i think. I'm running 17x7 myself and have 5mm spacers in the back. I feel there's room for another 5mm or so. In the front i don't have any spacers as i find it to be perfect. Getting any rubbing in the back?
