there is a new need for speed game coming out in early 2004, its called need for speed underground its about street racing and the mazdasped protege is one of the cars you can fix up and race in the game, the mods for the cars are supposed to be mods really made by companies for these cars look just like them and give the same amount of horsepower that it would really give the car, just thought you would like to know.

If you haven't already done so, play the NFS "Porsche Unleashed" game. It came out about 3 years ago, but it is by far the most realistic game I have played when it comes to car handling. You can only race Porsches but you've got plenty to choose from starting with the 50's 356s up to the 2000 911s and Boxsters.
I am patiently waiting for the next NFS to come out... I was highly disappointed with NFS Hot Pursuit 2. The tracks and the handling characteristics of the cars were far inferior to those in Porsche Unleashed.

there is a game base on the same format coming out in the next month or 2 called street racing syndicate but i dont know if it has the mazdaspeed in that 1 but it still should be very good , you can but everything on the cars from neons and radios with subs to superchargers and its all stuff really made by real companies and you can bet money, pink slips, or your girlfriends on the races and when you win new girls you can enter them in bikini contests to win extra money to put on your car. from what i understand the girls in the game are bassed on some of the models in super street and import tuner mags and when you enter them in the bikini contests they show dvd quality footage of the real women in the real contests. so enjoy

yeah, I saw some of those videos of the girls in SRS. I mean the models are hot, but they just don't look excited to be dancing, and some of them just aren't great dancers, at least in the video they shot. And its not like they are stripping or anything. They just kind of smile and shake around. Might as well buy 2 pornos for the price of the game. Just my 2 cents

street racing syndicate will never see the light of day more than likely - 3DO, the developer, has gone out of business and as of yet no one has stepped up to the plate to pick up and pusblish the game.
