Mazdaspeed Haiku! ^_^!

There once was a member named Swampass
who was very hilarious and funny and crass
But he is a good guy
Even though he might try
To appear be a mean and dirty old jackass
Lol, this is great :) Some of you guys are clever as hell!

...some others of you need to go back to elementary school and learn how to count syllables, lol!

It's all fourthmeal's fault.

fourthmeal, I enjoy a good haiku as much as your next wo-.... er, man, but what has me really upset about you starting this thread is how many awful haiku I have had to endure. Without you, I'd not have to read these 5-7-6 or 7-13-8 pattern haiku. Do you realize this?

Hey now, TurboWagon started the thread, I just posted amongst it. I think Haikus are 5-7-5, but I'm not an English Lit. Major, either.

bacarl :

That was my Limerick to counter Swampy's hilarity towards my mega-Haiku.
Haha, I know -- it was great :)

And haikus are 5-7-5. But in reference to the second part of my comment for instance: "In 2 seconds, I lost the bastard" is nine syllables, not five! lol

I am sad today

My cherished kitten ran off

Hope he isn't dead.

As cold as it was

I'm afraid he could be a

Kitty Popcicle!

I hope you come back

little "Fuzzy Balls" kitty

His name was just, "Roo."

He was "Roo" because

He would hop and jump like one

A Cute Kangaroo.

He threw up just once

In my Speed 3. Too car-sick

I guess. Smelled for weeks.

Come back, Roo! Bad Cat!

We missed your warmth our feet

Curled in bed with us.

-Seriously though...I'm really sad!

I hope your kitty comes back. Never give up hope - I had one that ran away when I moved to a new house. Three years later I got a call from our vet. Someone who lives about 4 miles away called them because they found his collar in a kitchen drawer while cleaning. They had thrown it in there a year earlier because they thought he was a neighborhood cat. I'm so glad to have him back!

On to my haiku...

On my way to work

It is very cold today

The rattles are back
