Mazdaspeed Familia Part Out Feeler

As the title says, 2001 Mazdaspeed Familia was in a fender bender, mechanically fine bumper and hood not fine. Weighing my options as it is really hard to find the parts I need to fix and get them shipped to England.

I am US military stationed in England, I brought the car with me when I was stationed in Japan. I have an FD3S now and its a money pit (wink)

Seeing if it is economically smarter for me to just part it out. Smaller parts I can ship USPS for stateside rates but larger items will be international shipping.

Car has about 80k miles on it.

I'm not set on the idea yet, just seeing if there would actually be interest. Mods please inform me if this needs to be in a different section.

You should post more pics so people can get an idea of what they would like...I might be interested in the mazdaspeed exhaust manifold

Just to reiterate, I'm only gauging interest at this time. Trying to figure out if its smarter to part out or fix and sell.

Will take pics in a few days, car is stored 20 miles from my house unfortunately

Interested in All turbo components.

Mazdaspeed Familia was a Japanese market only car and has the FS-ZE engine which is NA. Made the same power ouput as the US spec MSP.

bonnet(hood), bumper etc from a 323F sport would be the most likely donors in the U.K.
If you do choose to part out then I will be interested in the wiring harness, ecu and any immobiliser components if your Familia came with it.

I would love to have a right hand drive MP3, but I bet CA wouldn't let me have yours. I imagine it would be tough with S&H to recoup enough to make it worth it for you. What about getting a carbon fiber hood, they are light. Might be able to find one that needs to be re-coated for relatively cheap.

Good luck.

Apologizes for not replying, I'm in the military and was not at home station till now, but I have located the parts i need to repair the car for cheaper, thanks JDM323J48 for the suggestion.

Awesome I'm glad too see this rare specimen being repaired. I would've liked the parts but I rather the car as a whole be preserved

That's what we're all about here.
