Mazdaspeed-esque Spoiler for the 2?

well, the price they quoted me (not group-buy) for FRP (primered) is 240 shipped, which still seems steep, especially since we'd then have to paint it. i'm gonna hold out a bit more and see if we can just get Corksport or someone to do an ABS one for cheaper. I'd absolutely pick one up at ABS prices if it was an option.

From Thailand? Thats cheap if you ask me, cost me almost $300 just to ship my US spec tail lights from my PGT to Germany. Big boxes get expensive sometimes... even though im sure it is light.

I just submitted a suggestion to Corksports to make one :D

Everyone that says they want Corksports to make one should also submit a suggestion on their site.

You are correct. $240 with shipping, from another country is very affordable. And it is mostly the size of the box and not the weight that determines the price of the shipping. Trust me, i know.

+1

I'd rather pay more for shipping just to make sure its properly packaged as well.

can't believe 4 months have passed and this random one on Ebay and the 3Dcarbon spoiler that they only sell in a set are the only two raised spoilers for the 2.

Yeah, it sucks, but I can understand it. At least in my area, the 2 is a total middle-aged woman commuter car. I'm the only male under 30 that I've seen in the Baltimore area. I think there is one other person in the area on this forum, and then one out in western MD, but I don't think the market is huge right now.

Yeah everyone always thinks it's funny that I'm 21 with a 2 lol, so I know where you're coming from.

Unfortunately we live in the United States. Where subcompact hatchbacks go to die and are hated like the plague. There for hardly anyone wants to modify them and because of that we get a very small after market. Not the case in the rest of the world mind you. At least we have some American companies actually making parts for the Mazda 2. Those are the one that actually know what the Mazda 2 is and what it can be.

there really aren't many non-american aftermarket parts for the 2 either is what's weird. this car's been around for a bit everywhere but here. no one is out there modifying it?

There is a vendor selling the 3dCarbon parts in the for sale section. Pricing isn't up for individual parts yet, but it looks like they will be available soon.

Yeah, i've pinged 3DCarbon before on getting just the spoiler and didn't get a response. I'll go check the post out.

No, trust me. I've been to Thailand, where i originally got me inspiration to actually buy the Mazda 2. Reason being that i saw SOO many Mazda 2's customized in Bangkok. There are body related parts out there. We just don't see them and they are hard to get.

Funny thing is that i saw the 3DCarbon Mazda 2 kit half a year ago. Way before 3DCarbon actually came out with it. Where? In Thailand. (lol2)
