Mazdaspeed camshaft?

Well I ordered the mazdaspeed exhaust cam and fsze cam, but they both seem to be the intake cams. With the dowel pins up the lobes are both facing the same direction. After I looked at my old cams with the dowel pins up the lobes are in the revers direction. Will post pics tonight or tommorrow when I get home.

Well I put back in the stock exhaust cam and left in the fsze intake cam and wooo. I drove for about a hour to let the new cam break in and a couple of times went a little over 4 and it really starts pulling after 4 but other then that it seems the same in the lower part I will say the little I got to feel the cam it feels good and I really like it cant wait to it breaks in more and then I will find out how much of a feel my ass dyno can get. Now if I can just get the exhaust cam will call corksport tommorrow.

Well after sending pics to corksport and talking with them, I did get two intake cams and when they realized that sent me my exhaust the same day we spoke. For everyones reference in the future who gets these. The intake cam will have a green color over the fs9h and the exhaust cam will have that and a pink and blue color over the hex on the camshaft that you use to take off cam sprocket and it has two dowel pin holes. One will be filled and one wont, the intake cam will have just one dowel pin and no extra hole. I will post all toque specs needed later.

Cool deal...Good to see everything is going to be worked out for you...

Thanks, oh and it already did. I actually installed it today. It took me about 3 hours, 3rd time installing it too. It is worth it I felt a difference with the intake but with the intake and exhaust I feel a real difference from 3k and up, but I only taken it to 4.5k rite now since I want to break in the exhauset cam rite now. I am very happy though.

Hey guys, I was trying to figure out if putting in these cams void factory warrenty? I'm thinking it should NOT because they are both mazda parts but please give me your inputs or opinions. I am thinking about purchasing both the intake and exhaust cams.

Do the Cams come with installation instructions, or is the manual the only way to go? I might be interested. Looks like a possible class change mid-season. :)

No, the cams will not void your warranty...

No but you can download the manual or I can send you the part of the manual for this installation. Also you can buy the probe/MX6 manual and that will work for this also. I personally used both and having rwo books of info is great to have. Shop manual part for you free, probe book about $10.00. PM a E-mail adress or I will give you that link.
