It's for the injen cold air, but install is pretty much the same thing. If you're still having problems I can scan my original one from my mazdaspeed intake and email it to you, but you should be fine with the injen instructions. Only major difference is the mounting for the shield around the filter.

edit:: this one says you need to remove the front bumper, but I was able to do it by just removing the drivers side wheel and the splash gaurd. I've heard mixed reviews about which way is the best way, but I was to lazy to remove the bumper.

Def. no need to remove the bumper... though it is a small PITA to get to the one blind bolt securing the 'airflow diverter' in the top of the wheel well... just takes a long reach and a bit of patience as you can only turn the thing a few degrees at a time with any wrench that will fit... after that it's a piece of cake... also worth noting is the proper alignment of the hose clamps, esp. on the inboard intake housing connection, since you will need to be able to reach these easily to re-tighten as the intake 'settles' for the first few days after it is installed... correct orientation is w/ the hoseclamps screws on the right side, facing up.

let me know if you like it and how easy the install is going i'm still waiting for mine to be delivered thanks

Good luck. Let me know how it goes or if you have any tips when you're done. I haven't done mine yet. It's been too cold.

Well I actually installed it today. Took me about 2 hours by myself taking my own sweet time. Installation was pretty stright forward and simple. I've done a lot of work on my own cars including intakes, tbe's and coilovers, so it was simple enough. The same instructions posted above are the ones that Kevin e-mailed me. Very thorough instructions and helped a great deal.

ya, we cleaned it with soap and water, NO oil though!! thanks!
Yeah, soap probably works fine. However, follow their method with the bucket or you risk transferring fine particles to the inside of the filter where they will go right into your engine.
