Mazdaspeed BOV Trouble

Hello, this is my first time in the forums, and I am looking for some help with my speed. My MODS so far are, HKS Suction Intake, Corksport Exhaust, Cobb Down Pipe, and upgraded TMIC. Also recently installed a Forge BOV, and when my car is in 5th, and 6th the car studders in the high rpm's. I just got the cobb tuner, and aslo the boost cutter, and it still does it, but when I put the factory BOV the car runs fine, no hasitation in 4th, 5th, and 6th gears. Does anyone know what could be the issue, Thank you.

I would do a datalog with the Cobb Accessport and look at your fuel pressure. You might be holding more boost with the upgraded BPV, but your stock cam driven fuel pump (CDFP) might be maxxing out (that part is known to be weak). Your fuel pressure should not drop below 1600psi at wide open throttle, from what I have read.

What might be happening is the fuel pressure might be dropping and the ECU might be trying to compensate by cutting power, dumping boost, etc.

Other than that, it might be knock retard. I would also log knock retard and do a pull and see if you are getting anything at WOT (also not a good thing). You might be experiencing detonation, which could really lead to bad things in the end, so I would definitely try to make sure that those things are not problems before running the car hard again.
