Im supposed to go drive a mzspd6 some time this week. (finally) I just think it's too expensive for what it is... i was quoted somewhere around 31k U.S. for this car. too little car, too much money.

We canucks want it because it's friggin cold up here. i don't want to have to leave my house to start the car. I want it to be warm before I get in it.
Newf said:40,195 is what I was quoted so far
damn
we also have a new owner at our dealer here. All new staff. I think that is going to be the deal breaker for for me right there. How they treat me over the next few months will determine if I want to spend any money at MAzda again.

The overall price of 6's has risen dramatically in 06. A fully loaded 6s ATX falls near to the base cost of a sport MPS 6 now!
The MPS 6 varies from 26k to around 34k, depending on options. You can get a MPS 6 for a decent price (probably around 24k if the dealer accepts all current rebates), if its a good dealer, who isn't trying to mark the car up.

@#$@#$@#
I got to sit in the drivers seat and that was it
I got to be honest. For 40 grand, I want higher quality wheels, a better stereo( mp3 player), and some damn side sills though.
post pics with your new wheels ! I'd love to see the speed6 without those ugly ass wheels on it. with tint you should have the best looking ms6 on the continent.FX-MAN said:Anyway, I paid $40K CDN for my MS6. I looked into bringing up the same model from the states, but with conversion+tax it was just about the same price. Worth every penny after I swapped the wheels though. This car kicks ass... Wheels today... tomorrow.... TINT!![]()
FX-MAN said:HEY!!! I AM A CANUCK TOO! I live in Vancouver BC... I have a garrage though. I still want autostart so I don't have to sit there while the car warms up. That's because I am lazy though... not because I am cold. Vancouver isn't that cold.

Rainman said:It ain't that the wheels aren't high quality...they are just a stupid design. Although, they are somewhat reminiscent of the wheels on the A6 and A8, which may speak to Mazda's attempt to bring it more upscale. They would have a harder time distinguishing its target market by putting the same type of wheels that we all like. Really, it isn't target to us....well maybe me on the outside edge (at 35 years old), but generally their target audience is 35-45 years old. That demographic is "too old" to be into the race scene, but "too young" to be driving something stuffy. Give them the MS6 which is fast enough to be exciting, but sedate looking enough to not look out of place at your employers parking lot.
First, I gotta get me some winters on steelies though, cause we're supposed to get snow and freezing rain tomorrow. I'll have the winter to think about what replacement rims to get for the spring.
