I think he meant "weren't" as in, scrap the outlines of the windows and keep the silhouette of the car.

I heard back from Antoine today, and it looks like I'll have the OK for a one-time group buy. I also got some revised designs from Craig, this time on different color backgrounds as well. The first one is just a quick adaptation of the circular "ms3" logo as a front pocket graphic. He's dropped #1/6 from the lineup. From here on out, let's comment on these as being #12-15.
Remember, nobody is proposing that the shirts BE these colors. Let's comment on the designs themselves. Tweaks have been made based on all of our comments.

Since #1/6 was deleted from the lineup, my 2 favorites are now #12 and #15. The design in #15 has grown on me- I'm not sure if he changed the proportions of the car a little, or if it's just the grey on red that makes it look better to my eye.
Let's hear comments, and by Saturday, I'll have a poll up to vote on the final design choice. (Seems like plenty of people are chiming in quickly, so no need to drag this out TOO long. Too late? lol)

without a DOUBT #13 is the best...it is classy, stylistic, and portrays our speeds beautifully.

To answer questions/concerns so far...
Moultese- I was planning for a t-shirt with a logo on the front pocket area (with or without an actual pocket, I personally prefer with pocket, but that's another issue). And one of the designs above on the back.
Meicalnissyen- sorry, man. If you can't tell that's a donkey (ass) by now, I just can't help you. And WTF did you google, dude? Does not convey "ass" in any way whatsoever. Sorry. Just my opinion, there- looks like some sort of angry badger/werewolf hybrid. As for the wheels, well, you have to do something with them. When he did a generic blank wheel in the first batch, people wanted to see actual wheel designs, so Craig put wheels in. I like the design of the wheels he chose, simply because they're not garishly ornate & offer a chance to do the "painted caliper" effect on the shirt. We just can't do a separate t-shirt with each person's wheels on it, so we had to settle on something. Folks seemed to like those wheels in the last batch, so they kind of "won."
Remember- the final design will likely be a red MS3 on either black or heather or charcoal grey. People already expressed that they preferred dark, neutral colors.
If we had huge support for this (60-80+ interestred), we could do 2 different shirts. But we're going to have to narrow it down to one design & color combo for production since it is a one-time deal.
I just hope folks won't be too upset if their #1 choice doesn't win out.

Bill, I don't think anybody will, or even has the right to be upset. We all want a sick shirt to represent, and any of these designs would be cool to have. If ppl are upset, they just won't buy the shirt, but I don't see that happening.
Mucho props again for putting all this effort in, can't wait for this poll!

Oh I'm down with this, I think these shirts look sweet! My vote is for it on heather gray because the state I live it, black shirts just suck in the summer months.

I like this design alot. Im a fan of the more simple designs. This would look nice on the left where the pocket goes, or centered on the front or back of the shirt. We could put this on the front and maybe just 'zoom zoom' on the back or something.
