unless any one heere is a member and wants to help a fellow mazda member out : )

i was going to buy that silver mazda in MO, "i think"...did u see the orange msp that sold for 1500 run and drive...that s*** went CHEAP!!!

Ask the member who ran his MS3 into the wall at a race track at 130 mph because he didn't check his brakes at a track day. He might disagree with you as he walked away from the accident unscathed. His MS3 however didn't. But it did do the job that it was supposed to...that is keep him alive and in one piece.

I agree with you here. My old 08 black mica 3i ended up completely totalled, T-boned to the driver side. I walked away without a scratch at all... it protected me and kept me safe, did exactly what it was supposed to... Crunched in exactly the right spots...

Much worse than it looked, totalled over 11k in damages, frame and pillar damage primarily, airbags went off, smashed the seat, cetner console, steering column and everything inside..

These MS3's are designed to have the motor eject in crashes it seems....that's probably how they found the car exactly.

It seems? No way. Looks like they just stacked the engine up there.

It would make no sense at all to eject the engine.... How would that increase safety? Send hundreds of pounds in a compact form into a random direction with (more than likely) other traffic around? Even better, leave a large gap in the engine bay that could easily be crushed versus providing some mass between you and other objects.
