I already did this swap and dyno'd it.... Here my graph, it's legit. When the VTAK kicks in you can really feel it.

sell the MS3 and buy an Integra. much much easier. if your gonna do it you should swap in a K20 instead, its a much better engine.

Do what the Focus's do and put a V8/RWD in it.

But seriously....

The only thing I have heard of putting a Honda engine into that wasn't a honda in the first place and made it better was a classic Mini.

good luck doing that... gonna take a lot of times and effort and knowledge.
and where are you gonna take your car for the maintenance? honda or mazda? lol

it was a bear to put the ms3 engine in a mazda5 - and that's within a similar family of vehicles. Even after the swap, they had a great deal of tuning to do in order to make it run smoothly and quickly.

having owned a honda in the past, i know how swap happy you all are. between hondas, engines swap pretty smoothly [all manner of 4 cylinder engines]. just off the top of my head you will need: motor, tranny, custom axles, custom driveshaft, smog equipment, standalone, fuel management, tuning, custom piping, turbo, new cluster, new wire harness, custom engine mounts, custom tranny mount, new rear diff, etc... more labor and money than you probably have any means of accomplishing. better off waiting for it to blow and getting it rebuilt/replaced - it will probably take half the time and cost half as much.

i dont know why everyone assumes that a high mileage ms3 will inevitably blow up. there are plenty of high mileage ms3's on the boards that are just fine. not to mention the MASSES of owners who dont post on boards. i have owned plenty of "time bomb" cars that gave me zero issues through my ownership because i didnt abuse them and maintained them properly.

lol i know he a troll but its fun to play.

So..... how many miles does your speed have?

Any crazy pizza delivery stories??????

You have the sweet limited edition AWD MS3?

I like it, looks like it fits right in the space between the intercooler and the ducting! Now we can have our top end power too!! VTAKK
