Mazdas247 Fantasy NASCAR League?

So first off let me say that if you don't like NASCAR, I can understand why... but don't come in here and crap on this thread.

With the Daytona 500 just around the corner, I was wondering if anyone was interested in joining up in a NASCAR fantasy league. It will be free, of course, and just for fun / bragging rights.

I propose to do this on ESPN.com. I've done this league a few times now and like how it's set up.

Format: They run 4 segments, equally divided. I don't remember the points breakdown though. I think it's the same as the points each driver actually gets in the race. You have 5 drivers, and a salary cap. Drivers "cost" is a market value type setup. Some are more expensive than others, and their value goes up and down based on how they finish.

I'd like to throw this out there... just because you may miss Daytona, doesn't mean you can't join up still. At the end of each segment, the score is reset.

It's really just a crap shoot right? It always is. What happened to me last year was that I carried Paul Menard all season because he was consistent. Well... right before Brickyard, I dropped him to pick up someone who was good at Indy. Menard won. SOB.
