2003 Mazda6i
Well I picked up a 2003 Mazda6i labeled as "silver series." 33k miles 4AT. Love the car so far, just curious to what the deal is with the Silver Series. I can't seem to find any info on it.

The car has front and rear lips, side skirts, a trunk lid lip spoiler with LED. Two tone leather interiorwith "silver series" embroidered in the seat, 16" OEM wheels. That's the only things that really stick out to me right now about the car.

Here's some pics of it. Maybe someone can help me identify "distinguishing" features the car may have. Basically I've just decided it was an a basic 6i with a "sport" package on it. I dig it though.

Your Mazda knowledge is greatly appreciated everyone, as you all are my learning tools!

On to the pics.

So yea, really help me out here guys! Give me the info!. Maybe someone could post a breakdown of all trim levels of Mazda6's, so I can see the difference between each one. I'd like to pick up some of the OEM options that I don't have(heated mirrors, fog lights, etc.)

Its probably a dealer/regional installed trim package. Back in the day a relative purchased a Mitsu Galant with a CVE badge. It stood for Connecticut Value Edition and had dealer installed sunroof and aftermarket leather. Was basically a base Galant with a couple of popular add ons to help them move the cars off the lot....
As for Heated mirrors its not all that hard to do. Contact Jason at www.onlinemazdaparts.com for the drivers and pass heated mirrors and the install only takes about 15-20 minutes per side. I have a writeup in the how-to section on the install.....

I swear I have seen this before I even thought aobut owning a 6. I feel like there has to be more out there. I don't mind it, other than the silver series on the seats. I could do without it, but it wasn't a deal breaker. The side stickers have already come off.

I think VRMS6 is on the right trail. It's either a regional thing or an end of model year special value package they put together to move the old inventory before the new ones hit the lot.
