Mazda6 GT wheels unto CX-5

[CX-5um]

Has anyone swapped Mazda6 wheels with 225/45/19 tires unto their CX-5? I'd be curious to know what effects there are towards the odometer along with braking/cornering/accelerating differences. My understanding that CX-5 GT tires are 225/55/19.

I'm about to do this (see http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/show...-your-wheels&p=6395190&viewfull=1#post6395190), but probably won't end up with them on my CX-5 until next spring. I'll buy new winter tires in October and put them on my stock 17" wheels. Then, next year, I'll buy new 19" tires for these wheels. I haven't really digested the fitments yet, though. (shrug)

Mazda 6 tire diameter is 1.7" smaller. That's a BIG difference.

At that size your speedo will be noticeably off. At 60 mph you will be just over 56 mph.
