Mazda5: Prices paid and related questions

I am having a hard time finding anything used sub 17k.

I visited the local dealer yesterday.. even with S-Plan pricing they were unwilling to budge on invoice+destination. New sport 19,700, touring 20,643, GT 23,151 all + TTL. I said I'd take a GT home for $20k, he said we were wayyyy too far off.

I want to find 2008+, sub 30k miles, $15k-ish. Nothing out there right now... am I crazy? I see posts about people buying 2 year old used 12k miles for $12k

Hey guys...brand new member...and possibly a brand new owner of a Mazda5

I wanted to seek people's expertise and opinion on a Mazda5 that I had looked at last night. I've been in the market for a 2010 Mazda5 GT and managed to locate one that was a Mazda Canada exec return. It comes with the leather/heated seats option, and OEM mats. The car only has 8200 kms and overall it does still look, smell, feel brand new.

Talking to the dealer and after a few back and forth, we came upon $21K, plus taxes, so about $24K CDN. In addition, winter tires were also thrown in, without rims.

I wanted to see your thoughts if the deal is good enough or there's still room to wiggle. The monthly compared to the 2012 is over $100 per month, so I rather take the $$ discount over the higher APR.

Price you paid for your Mazda5: $16,999 before taxes & fees and $19,307 after t&f, but total price was listed as $17807 because of a 03 mpv trade-in (btw, they only gave me $1,500 as it was in poor condition).

The mazda5 has about 20350 miles but was sold as "new" as it was the demo car and was never titled; service history shows diligence and the car looks and feels in excellent condition.

Honestly, I have no idea if I made a good buy, I was there for 5 hours and while the sales person was very pleasant we were both exhausted with all the haggling by the end of the sale.
