Mazda3 wheels on silver Proteg5

17" Mazda3 wheels on my silver Proteg5. The wheels are wrapped in 205/40/17 Kuhmo Ecsta 711.

These wheels and tires have been a joy all summer long. The car loves to be driven and hugs the corners like crazy. Unfortunately the season is changing in my region and snow will soon be falling. So I'll be putting on the stock rims and tires again. I'm worried how good those dunlops will be in the snow though as they are half worn.

Well, finally I got around to taking some pictures with the wheels on my car. When you hit the link you'll see a couple grayscaled images which are for a future graphic design project I'm working on. If you proceed to scroll down you'll see a few more pix.

nice...I knew they'd look good and clean on a p5(my mom has a MZ3 with 17's and I thought they'd look tight on a Protege)...how much did you pay for them?

yeah, they're a bit bigger. tires are a bit wider as well. also, it's an inch lower.

i paid $150 for the set (near mint)

they cost me $90 to ship from CA

the tires were $70 each mounted and balanced

$520 total to upgrade wheels and tires. it was worth it!

yeah sorry the pics are so small. i live out in the sticks so i've got to deal with my dial up connection to upload stuff. I would have made them bigger but I didn't want to take the time. however if Douggie and if anybody else would like I can send a larger image such a desktop or wallpaper size. just list your email and size of your screen res and I'll hook it up.

Looks good....when you change your wheels back, make sure you get winter tires....stock tires are not that great in snow.

yep, the wheels go good with the car =) It's more eye catching than stock and with the added handleing the upgrade sums up to be quite gratifing!
