Mazda3 Sport 2007 w/ 100K miles

I love the Mazda3 and always have. We have had three 626s, a Mazda6, and now my wife has a CX9 GT.

I'm looking for a small-sporty-decent commuter vehicle and have seen a few 3s with 100K miles. What issues should I be looking for at this mileage and should you shy away from this mileage vehicle?

Ive seen speed3 with 100,000+ miles and running fine.

The most common thing to break on the 3 is the passenger side engine mount, so have a look at that. As long as all maintence has been done it should be ok. Some people have said that mazda 3s start to burn oil after 100,000 miles. I've seen posts on another forum with a few people with almost 250,000 miles on their 3.
