Mazda3 High Beam question

I'm pretty sure they're 65w 9005 bulbs...

i dont think youll burn the wires out. the ballasts for the HID headlights are used because the actual bulb doesnt regulate its own current consumption. so even if you put a 55w all that would happen is in a worst case scenario is you would blow a fuse or burn out a capacitor in the ballasts. better a fuse than a capacitor though....i think they are expensive to replace. anyways....i dont know the answer to your question. im just full of the wrong s***. lol.

You won't hurt the wires at all if you put a 55w bulb in a 65w socket...you only run into problems with wires/heat if you put in a bulb with a higer draw than the wiring is designed for. 
What page in the manual? That thing is huge and I dont see it in the bulb replacment section either.
Its hard to find a 55w bulb unless its PIAA which is too expensive, so I was thinking of getting a 65w for replacement but I'm not trying to replace anything other than the bulb haha
