Mazda Welcome Kit. You get one?

I purchased my CX-5 on 15 Sep and haven't received it yet.

I received this too when I bought my 2014 in January 2014. What a waste of paper. I was hoping for something like coupons or a key chain or something, but nope. So in the trash it went.

I bought my CX-5 on June 30. The cover letter that came with my welcome kit was dated August 26 (8 weeks later). Also, the cover letter has the Mazda Capital Services logo at the top, says "Welcome to Mazda and Mazda Capital Services" and is "signed" by the Senior VP and CEO of Chase Auto Finance.

So I wonder if this is only for those who finance through Mazda?

Right before I took delivery of mine, I noticed the tow hooks missing. The dealership told me they do NOT come with them for 2016. (as mentioned elsewhere on these forums) The salesman went above and beyond and removed them from a used 2015 on the lot and gave them to me. I was impressed with the effort to satisfy me.

Just completed a survey on my experience with the dealer and purchasing my cx5. Then I got this form. It says at the top about getting a welcome kit. Maybe this is what determines whether some of us have and haven't gotten one, and whether you've completed a survey. Will see how long it takes to get mine.

I got one too but I think mine had images of the 2015 Mazda on it - I think it was too new since at the time.

Complete agreement. Put the money in the CAR.

37 years ago, Mazda sent artwork, touchup paint, and a key chain to my father after the first RX-7.
25 years ago, Mazda sent touch up paint, and a key chain.
15 years ago, I got touch up paint.
10 years ago, nothing I can recall.
1 year ago, Welcome kit brochures.

MAZDA: Please either include the touchup paint with the car, or send it to me as a welcome gift. (birthday)

Bought my 2016 GT July 30th and got my welcome kit yesterday.

I got the welcome box. I noticed there were tow hook cutouts in the Styrofoam under the trunk floor, but they were empty. I got the dealership to provide two hooks at no charge even though they told me that Mazda no longer provides them, so that was appreciated. I think the welcome box is worthless. There is a Mazda emblem on all 4 wheels, the front grill and the back... why would I need another Mazda decal? And it's not as if I'm going to plaster Mazda stickers on other items so I don't see the point.

Six months after signing, the welcome package arrived today. Seems a bit...strange to say the least.
