I just reinstalled Mazda Toolbox on my computer, Naviextras, second generation infotainment. I wanted to check for map updates, no new updates, my SD card has the latest September 2024 update. All good up to this point but then I thought about doing a backup for my SD card. To my surprise, I do not have the backup option in the menu! And I can't tell the version of the Mazda Toolbox that I just installed. I went to this link Download for windows. The .exe file's name is MazdaUpdateToolbox-inst.exe. When I initially ran this file and installed the toolbox, when inserted the SD card, I got a message saying that this version was not compatible with my card and suggested a link to download the proper toolbox .exe file. So I downloaded that file, Mazda Toolbox-inst.exe. And with this one I am able to read my SD card but, as you can see in the pictures, no backup feature in the menu. Do I have the right version, am I missing something, am I doing something wrong? What do you think?
