ok guys wtf? i installed the cai and everything is good but the ******* splash guard is kinda of wierd. I cant close the out side splash guard for my car. when i did it was hitting the tire. so i ******* got mad and threw away the splash guard that came with it.

Very odd. My splash guard is nowhere near the tire. Did you remove the inner plastic guard per the instructions? If not, there would not be enough room to fit the filter/guard into the intended area.

Same with mine. There is a guard (I think it is actually a windbreak) that blocks the view of the back of the foglight on that side. It is supposed to come out and stay out. If you can't see the back of the foglight, you missed a step.

And if you actually did throw away the splash guard my recommendation would be to dive into the dumpster to retrieve it, get a new one, make a new one or buy a Hydroshield.
