dealers don't give a flyin flip about kbb or nada. We usa black book that's printed bi-weekly. For any doubts, we use a gray book for pre 97 models. Most the time it's a matter of opinion than what's stated in the books. Alot of things effect trade in value. Local prices are just that, local. If your driving a eugo, they are not going to treat it as a lambo. Only the higher line cars bring clean and extra clean book. So I'm sorry to say it, but it looks like we are stuck getting average and rough book for our rides. It sucks, but a protege is still a protege, not a lexus.
