Mazda Rev-It-Up Pics

Hey guys and gals,
Just got back from a fun day of all out racing related activities. My wife and I went to the Mazda Rev-It-Up in Minneapolis this morning and afternoon and then headed out with her cousins to watch 2Fast and 2Furious. It was a kick ass day of cars and racing. A man's dream. Check out the pics in our yahoo photo album. Peace.

Sweet! Looks like a blast. Can't wait the STL rev-it up is this coming weekend....anyone else gonna be there?

Yeah, there were too many stics imo on the 6s, but they drove really nice. They were equipted with the auto stick not standard, Eiback springs, Bosal exhaust, and Falken tires. They were fun to drive. There was this guy who flew to Minneapolis from last weeks Miami Rev-It-Up to try and get better times! He broke the morning's record in the practice course his first run out! Hardcore. I did not get a chance to see him do the actual competition sprints. Wonder how he did, and if it was worth the trip? The day was kick ass. Damn hard to get points though. People were running 35s and lower and still not getting on the leader boards. The pro index was only 31! Tough racing. I would love to do it again, and I love Mazda for being the first to do something like this. Mazda rocks.

hey I wish i know someone else from here was going. I went down with a couple of my friends. When I got down there tho I parked next to a Blue MP3, and a Spicy Orange MSP:P Cool event tho, and man I want an RX-8 now :)

those are some cool pics! im lookin forward to the one near chicago next weekend..anyone goin from around my area???

It was a kick ass time yall. I actually am debating making a road trip to Chicago and seeing about walking in and registering. I am unsure if I am driving there though. My wife and friends wanted to make a road trip to Chicago anyway, so maybe. I'll let you know, maybe we could meet up. I suggest when you go, you go very early before your race time so you can get the clinics and practice runs all done before your first competition run. We did not get to finish everything before the first one, and I ran a f'in 45! That sucked. If you get more practice in, the times will come down.
