Maybe a mesh grill in the front instead of the black plastic... not sure about this one, what you guys think? Too ricey?

nothing is to ricey if you think it looks good, as long as you don't think you add hp from the grill your fine. i see people in bad as civics all the time reving their engines like they got 200+hp because they got a fire decal and some hubcap spinners.

not to mention enough downforce to ground a boeing 747 at top speed

The fiberglass piece is a lot cheaper, 190, my cf grill cost me 260 if I remember correctly.

K so I have a green 01 Protege, and want do to some outer appearance mods...

First, are there clear front blinkers for our cars? I dont want the amber anymore.
Next, i wanna get some bright PIAA bulbs for the front and maybe the fogs.
Then I wanna get some LED sidemarkers.

Then some clear euro tailights for the back... but I think they are pretty expensive. So i may just get some bright LED bulbs for the back.
Then Im thinking of getting a strut bar for the front.

What else?? Thanks.

-Pm sent on the clear corners.
-PIAA bulbs are ok but really, if you're trying to increase your light at night, an HID kit is a must. DDMtuning.com has them for under a 100 bucks with lifetime warranty.
-I had LED side markers, they make the front very sleek at night.
-If you're going to get a grille, I suggest only a DG Motorsports grille, all else looks like crap IMO outside of the OEM grille.
-If you're worried about ricing out, DO NOT get euro tail lights. Those things are so played out it's not funny. To each is their own though.
-LED brake lights, even when you get the most expensive kind, don't light up the tail light as good as the halogen bulbs the tail light was designed off of, stay with the regular halogen bulbs.

haha, wasn't trying to say your car was rice. They look half way decent since they're smoked but I just hate those tail lights on any car, even the IS300.

lol
see my original plan on things was to do everything at the same time, so there would be a complete make over.

but i got to the rice side slightly when i started to use disposable cash on small things instead of waiting for big things to be done.

looks like s*** right now i know because it's almost the same thing as painting only 1 wall in a room and can't afford the paint for the other 3

I know how it is man....

...you're not the only one that has made some mistakes by "cheaping" out if you will

thankfully i didn't make the mistake of buying the BC-2 kit.
thought about it, reviewed and threw it out.
it looks pretty but i've heard nothing but complaints about how thin and cheaply made it is.

its on sale for only 350$ for the complete kit a grounddynamics.....
anyways, its my first car so i knew it would happen.

Yeah, I lost about 1800 with the BC-2 with paint, install, repairs and s***. I think it is a very attractive kit but is made VERY poorly, just like any body kit.

Yeah, mine is my first car too. It's cool though cause now I know my next car will not have so many stupid mods and have so much money wasted.

same here.
which is why ill buy a car which needs no mods to be sexy as hell.

FYI huge JDM import lot in my city, '94 3rd gen RX-7's with right side drive for just 8000$!!!!! had i known that when i bought the pro. not that i don't like it,
it's just not 250hp and sexy as the devil must be.

I love my BC2 kit, except we had problems with fitment, that still aren't perfect. Cracked my left skirt on a curb too. Lots of scraping on the front too, lol. None of it is visible which is nice.
