Mazda Protege Owner Photos

So you are saying my Tokico HP's don't let my springs drop as much as they should? Maybe I should have just bought a set of cheap KYB's.

From what I've read, they are similar to the MP3 struts and do not allow much of a drop compared to other struts. But the handling improvements are superior to others, iirc.

uh oh chico is getting mad. as far as who gets the springs, i do have less wheel gap than you, i am in WANT of a lower set, but my left rear fender is smashed closer to the wheel in previous owner wreck or something, it scrubs at times, and the same wheel's strut is a bit worn. so d-rock can buy them.i might jus drop the fronts with something else.

you may just want to get a set of ground control coilovers, they'll work well with your struts and are pretty affordable

oh I guess I meant 99 Pro...

but, they shouldn't bounce any worse than a spring of the same rate

and in FL you shouldn't have to worry about lots of corrosion

i have coilovers... if you set them up right they dont bounce...i have ksports and drive on VERY rough roads...no problems at all.

Here's my Laser Blue ES sitting on some 15" Konig Next wheels and Semperit Sport Grip tires. These are my winter wheels and tires. The pics don't show just how salty the outside of the car really was.

interesting look with half of the b-pillar stripped to laser blue but the rest still black... (scratch)

Oh yeah, that. I started removing it one day and only got that far. That stuff isn't the easiest to get off. And now it's too cold out and would be even harder to get off.
