Russia!

Not usually a fan of colours like this but I am feeling this a bit. Especially with the white wheels.

Shot some recent photos of my car with my smartphone. This is my inspiration to get cracking this Spring and put some work into it! (springs/struts, exhaust, , rear sway bar, sticky tires, better wheels)

OK, because I'm trying to find a sport20 AWD to swap my BJ 99-00 AWD but I'm not sure... maybe you tell me, is the sport20 AWD are manual transaxle?

Most of them came Automatic but there were a few of them Manual AWD. I only know of one for sure that was over here. You should be able to source it from JDM land.

Not all Sport 20 with FS-ZE were AWD. They came just like USDM P% but with JDM goodies on there. Car looks spectacular Pru$.
thanks

Sports 20 4wd were both automatic and manual transmissions, the distribution of the axes was 50 to 50%

How can I help you?
the lower part of the floor is different

So what do I need to swap the AWD system into my USDM mazda protege SE 2000?

I know that all the rear is bolt-on (subframe, diff, fuel tank, suspension)

I think that the transaxle should be bolt-on on any FS engine and front axles should also fit in front hubs.

The question is for the driveshaft... is it same lenght of wheelbase on a sedan and a P5? If not, I could go in a shop here in Montreal that does any kind of driveshaft at your specs.

And the exhaust... if you say that the floor is not the same... I'm FCKD!!! I just have to take it off!!! ;) or I'll have to make a custom one but it will be so much near of the ground... unless I make an oval exhaust.

axle by protege 5 do not set the transmission 4wd, different length
part of the floor will have to change, the power components back too.
many details need to be replaced if you want to make a 4wd, you will need a lot of money to order a half cars from Japan

Well if I'm able to find one in a near future, I'd order a full car... or cut in 2 parts from Japan like Brian MP5T did. But not for now, I'm gonna start by finishing building my FS. But as I am a 10 years-experienced-mechanic and passionnate to the bones, I'm not worried by details. Thanks for your help!

WARNING: This AWD setup is not very strong at all. If you plan to put any power to that car, you had better look into upgrading all components. To be completely honest with you, you would be better off building a complete custom setup and run a GTX / GTR drivetrain for the AWD purposes. In the end, you'll spend the same amount of money, but one is a lot stronger than the other.

Thanks, that's a good advice! ^^

I wouldn't try to go higher than 300whp since our transmissions are... "female rated"... can we say that!? But it would be nice to have a 300hp engine pushing on all 4 wheels.

And I think that a GTX/GTR AWD drivetrain can be found much easily than a sport20 AWD!?!?

THE Phen
have experience installing GTX / GTR AWD on FS?

clement_ghost
you will not find 4wd, it was only RHD
