Mazda Persona

I have a Mazda Persona 2.0 manufactured in 1988 which is unique in Cyprus and the official dealer in Cyprus did not provide it so he has no information for this model.
Can anyone help me to find more information,where to buy parts and to come in contact with a person who has such one.

Mazda Persona

The Mazda Persona (also sold as the Eunos 300) was a mid-sized front wheel drive sedan sold in Japan in the late 1980s. It used Mazda's MA platform and was replaced by the Efini MS-8 in March 1993.
The Persona was Mazda's answer to the Toyota Carina ED, a Japanese sedan that attempted to capture the hardtop look and proportion of large American sedans. Transposed onto a smaller Japanese sedan, this proportion often led to a small, low cabin in context of longer front and rear ends.
Mazda placed much emphasis on the Persona's interior. It featured lounge-style door trims that appears completely integrated into the rear seats when the doors are closed.
When Mazda launched the Eunos dealership channel in Japan in 1990, the Persona became available also as an Eunos 300. Alongside with the Eunos Roadster (Mazda MX-5 Miata). the Eunos 100 (Mazda Familia Astina), and the 1990 Eunos Cosmo, these formed the initial Eunos brand lineup. The Eunos 300 was a stop-gap solution until the January 1992 launch of the Eunos 500, also known as the Mazda Xedos 6.

LOL, you think a US dealership is going to have parts for a car that's completely different than any US Mazda, both in drivetrain and chassis?

He's in Cyprus. He should attempt to get ahold of Mazda Japan or one of thier dealerships. Maybe someone with a contact in Japan can help him find the parts he needs?

Oh, there's always Yahoo Auctions Japan, should be able to find parts on there and there's a company that can bid/buy/import/ship parts from the seller in Japan anywhere in the world as Yahoo Auctions Japan won't allow for shipping internationally.

YES although obviously they wouldn't normally stock or sell such parts but I'm sure there are some people in the Mazda Parts business that have contacts abroad...Especially high-volume on-line sellers such as the one I mentioned above...I think he has a much better shot that way than trying to contact a dealer in Japan...Unless you SPEAK Japanese and are familiar with cross-language international orders...I would HIGHLY suggest going through an experienced Mazda parts dealer.

At the least...They may know someone who speaks English and deals in JP spec Mazda parts.

here in cyprus mazda dealers cannot help..i tried in greece but they didnt answer yet
also individual dealers selling japanese second hand cars will not help because they will not spend time for an ''old car'' never come in cyprus..
i would like to find from internet Auctions or a dealer having a same car to buy it and bring it here as parts and not as a registered car!!
thanx anyway for your help..and if you find more info tell me pls!!
