Although I agree that the MP5 is a great car and I am sad to see that Mazda's 2nd quarter sales were down 1% in North America. However, if everyone knew what we know, I would have paid a lot more for my car. Either way, I am happy to have gotten a MP5 now, I think the new Mazda 3 looks too much like a 5 door Focus. And having owned Mazdas in the past I know that they (except the Proteges) are prone to electrical problems. Prior Protege owner experience (3 family members, 2 with 150K +) that conviened me to buy. Let's just consider ourselfs lucky, in 7 or 8 years I think that the P5 will be one of those used cars that every 18 year old wants to get and modify. Peace...
