sup guys, i went to caranddriver.com and read an article on Mazda. More profit for mazda means good news for us. Maybe now they can take more chances on high performance parts/cars. Well, you can read some of the article below. Anyway, i just thought that i would pass along the info.
From http://www.caranddriver.com
"After years of losses Mazda, Japan's fifth-largest automaker, said it made a profit of $68.72 million for the year ended on March 31, Reuters reported.
The biggest turnaround in Mazda's 82-year history was helped by cost cuts and a favorably weak yen. The company also forecast a doubling of earnings this year, when it will release several long-awaited models, the story said.
The result comes after six years of Ford-led restructuring (the world's second largest automaker owns 33.4% or Mazda) which include 2,210 job cuts and the closure of one plant. "
