I'm out. Since no one's planning it, I'm thinking this is off. I'm super busy these days and 16th I have 2 weddings to go to. Someone else take the reins or just schedule a regular meet.

I'd like to go to this. Nothing done to my Mazda though except maybe a set of RX8 rims (soon). I'll be in Nova Scotia til Aug.15 & will be back in Calgary Aug.16.

MITM 08 pre details

MITM 08.... meet at cochrane for those not interested in CCC4C

from cochrane @ 1:00 pm..head to banff on hwy 1A = 102Km @ 1hr

from banff @ 2:15 pm head to rocky mountain house on hwy 93N then hwy 11E = 310 km @ 3hrs (stop along for pictures)

from rocky mountain house (after dinner/snack) @ 7:00pm head to edmonton (calgary) on hwy 22N then hwy 13E = 214 km @ 2hr

be home by 9:30pm (have real dinner ... sleep .... get up and repeat


if people like this i will put th full plan down, with details stops along the way for things like gas, photo shoot, and wilderness awareness. (might as well learn something)

i need someone from calgary to represent calgary and area mazdas.. to act as liason . and gather calgary participants not in for CCC4C and bring them to Cochrane.

all edmonton guys coming are in CCC4C or will meet directly in cochrane

Hey man, I live in calgary now, but moving to sylvan lake, and im IN for what ever date, Im new to the 247 mazda forum, but have been driving mazdas for well ever since i got my license.
So whats the REAL date, and time, and PLACE,
I can represent Calgary if anyone needs me to, just tell me what to do?
I drive 2001 mazda protege 2.0L gotta buddy with a brand new mx-5 im sure he would love to come too.

well we are going with the Aug 23 date.. as mentioned above, the date was fixed prior.. and teh edmonton creww is going with that. the event is still being called MITM 08,, except funky budha is not taking the reins.. this year.

I have put up a route in a post above.. that i had planned. i don't know of places in mountain like funky budha does.. (he took us to a lake last year)


since we are also running with CCC4C.. i need some one in calagry to group up the calgary guys and other not attending CCC4C and meet us at Cochrane

Rapter, FYI we originally met at COP and then headed out. Just state a time to be at COP and people will come. It always works that way. Sometimes I still wish I lived back there.
