Mark, I think you're missing a piece there buddy! Man, I know some folks who would KILL for the parts to do the AWD conversion! Sweet ride man :)

Im one of them who would kill for the parts to do the AWD conversion....and I will do the conversion, someday lol

I just stumbled across this thread...such a nice ride Mark! Maybe I'll get the AWD conversion someday...after I go turbo...which won't happen until I win the lottery... (yupnope)
 
its a lynx rs. also a bj chassis car. and guys, its been researched, its cheaper to import an awd car than to do the "conversion" you need to import the whole floor pan of the car, all of the subframes etc, which is prohibitively expensive. you cant just slap the tranny and dif on there, it has no where to bolt up to. and you would have to literally remove your floor, weld this one on (which would cost thousands of dollars to do properly) and then source the engine and tranny. its really not worth it

Or....buy an Evo...The platform is much more durable under modification. From what I understand, the rear diff in the Familia is somewhat weak.
