Isn't this just a Chinese made car rebranded as a Mazda? The same way that the Toyota Yaris is a rebranded Mazda2 in the US?

As I understand...The CX-6e & Mazda6e are built in China using an existing platform from Chongqing Changan Automobile (and it's assembled by this company as well). That includes the powertrain, batteries and core software.

Mazda designed the exterior and interior as well as heavily retuned the chassis, steering and suspension.

The Mazda6e is currently available for purchase in the EU and will be soon in other markets like Australia and ASEAN. CX-6e looks to become available in the EU this summer and in Fall for Australia. Both are currently on sale as the EZ-6 and EZ-60 in China.
